Inexplicable Treasure Chests: In each Order of No Quarter stage, Chester can be found hanging out inside of blue treasure chests, in which he has found a new Relic that he'll sell to Shovel Knight on the spot, or an Arcana to trade for the Relic that Plague Knight found.His only concern is that said alchemist might try to scam him by paying with synthetic gold. Honest John's Dealership: Chester's willingness to purchase stolen Relics from a villainous alchemist suggests that he is not too picky about where he gets his wares.In King of Cards, King Knight can purchase new Joustus cards, buy back Joustus cards that he's lost, and even buy cheats to make Joustus matches easier. In Plague of Shadows, he sells Plague Knight Arcana that achieve the same effect, though they're more costly than Shovel Knight Relics. In Shovel of Hope, he sells Shovel Knight magical Relics that he can use to supplement his Shovel Blade while fighting against the Order of No Quarter. In Plague of Shadows, Plague Knight can find the Alchemy Coin in the secret area of the Explodatorium marked by a Cipher Coin embedded in a wall. The Alchemy Coin can be purchased from Chester in the Explodatorium for 3000 or in the Village for 3500 after completing the stage. The Alchemy Coin is the subject of the Reflected Riches feat, which is earned by bouncing the same Alchemy Coin 5 times in a row. It costs 8 on each use, and only one coin can be tossed at a time. The coin bounces off of armored or stronger enemies, and will bounce back when struck with the Shovel Blade. When used, the Alchemy Coin is lightly tossed and moves along the ground, turning small enemies such as Ratsploders and Blorbs into gold. ![]()
